Dear Members,

Meet Alexander and Line – The couple behind refined culinary experiences.

Alexander completed his chef training in 2019 at Hotel Schæffergården in Jægersborg, where he finished with a silver medal. After his apprenticeship, he continued as a chef at Schæffergården for a few years, before he took a step further and became sous chef at Strandmøllekroen in Klampenborg – a place known for high gastronomic standards and beautiful surroundings.

In 2023, Alexander took over the lease at Asserbo Golf Club, where he ran the kitchen for three seasons with great success and a focus on quality. After this chapter, it was time for new challenges – and thus the adventure at Simon’s Golf Club begins on 1st January 2026.

Alexander is pictured with his partner Line, whom he has also helped train to be a chef. Line graduated in 2025 with a bronze medal and shares Alexander’s passion for the craft. Together, they not only have a professional partnership, but also a life together with their daughter Hannah – and a shared vision for excellent dining experiences.

“Our passion for food comes from the flavours you can put together in the different ingredients the season offers.”

“We care a lot about quality and taste – whether it’s the freshly baked bread, a strong sauce or a freshly baked cake.”

With them, they have a small, dedicated team consisting of waiters, chef trainees and kitchen assistants, all of whom contribute to the good atmosphere and the high standards set by Alexander and Line.
