Greenkeeper Update

Dear members,

This week we have carried out fairway aeration on C Loop, we hope to complete this today and will then work on A and B Loops next week.

We have carried out 2 days of tree thinning, more days of work on this to be done next week.

All greens have been mowed and rolled and pin positions changed.

We have also sprayed tees, greens, fore greens and weak areas with a winter tonic.

The damage to the grass on B8 and A1 has been repaired. This was due to the birds pecking for grubs, luckily it was only on a few areas.

We are expecting Storm Amy to arrive tomorrow morning, with heavy rain and very strong winds forecast, hopefully, we won’t lose any trees.

If possible, we will aerate fore greens next week with solid tines.
