Dear members,

We have progressed well in what could be described as a mild November, we have continued with our autumn aeration program on fairways and continually blown and collected leaves. With the current conditions we are experiencing, and the forecast predicted, we must now take the next steps to prepare and protect the course moving forward through the winter months. From tomorrow, Friday 26th November we will switch to the Winter Course, only Red and Yellow tee positions we be available from this point. Winter scorecards will be available from the Starter House and the Pro-Shop, conversion tables will be available on the Starter House and all information will be available on the SGC website.

I would like to thank all of you who switched to carry bags at my previous request, by doing so you have helped to protect the course and help me prolong the need to impose a trolley ban. Unfortunately, we have now reached the point where scooters and trolleys will no longer be permitted from Tuesday 30th November.
