This week’s update is a consolidation of weeks 17-19, the main reason for this is to make sure you get clear and interesting information rather than repeated information.

We replaced the majority of the failed turfs on C-Loop, more areas may need to be replaced after the completion of A-Loop, this will be assessed.

Works on A-Loop has proceeded at a great pace, week 17 and 18 saw the final shaping carried out and the shapers have now moved on to their next project.

A4 and A2 tee had the turf removed this turf was then reused in the bunkers. Rootzone was then applied and graded to level.

The install of Capillary Concrete and Dura bunker was completed at the end of week 18 after which all areas had top soil reinstalled ready for the final hand grading/finishing.

Sand was then installed in all bunkers. Following this a hydraulic brush is used to tidy up all the additional materials.

A5 has been one of the biggest changes on A-Loop, this area has been shaped, drained, irrigation installed and seeded.

Work for week 20 will include final grading/finishing on all areas and turf will be applied to all areas.
