SIMON’S WAS WELL REPRESENTED AT THE EM SENIOR GROUP, WHEN CHRISTIAN LANGKILDE AND MICHAEL C. FLINDT WENT TO FLY THE DANISH FLAG!

There was a match between the favorites when Denmark played the reigning champions Ireland.

It was close to becoming a fantastic win from Denmark, but after Ireland won 21st in the crucial single.

Christian Langkilde and Kim Worm lost 2 & 1 in their foursome, but in the singles fought hard and Denmark created the excitement.
Tony Jensen lost 5 & 4, but Hans Peter Jacobsen won 19th hole and Michael Flindt won 3 & 1.

Then all the excitement was pushed to Henrik Daugaard, but it was stopped on the 21st hole.

It was the first time Denmark had been in group A and it was a success that was recognized by the DGU.

“It’s really big for Danish seniorgolf, and it can help bring enthusiasm to the sport. The age limit has been lowered and there was support for the national team and it is really nice that they returned with that achievement” said Sports Director of DGU, Claus Mølholm to Golf.dk
